"Nante!"
Walk!
These commands are in Twi. When the Europeans came to Ghana and began the vicious hunt for African slaves, they divided and conquered neighboring tribes who had usually coexisted in peace. Under these conditions, the Fante and Asante, who speak languages from the Twi family, fought with neighboring tribes and sold the vanquished as slaves to the Europeans. As the Asante and Fante dominated commerce, their languages came to be spoken throughout the region.

Who is speaking? Who is being spoken to?

Now that Ghana is no longer a colony, each region falls more or less along tribal lines. Still, Twi is recognized as the dominant Ghanaian language. The Eve live in southeastern Ghana. Many Eve who have never left their region do not speak Twi.

The images are "performed" magazine ads. (None of the people in the original ads were people of color.) While the performers were held in these poses they repeated the slogan of the ad - in English. They weren't allowed to change their position, or stop speaking until commanded to do so.
