Each student will give a presentation on a set of readings on the
assigned week. We will choose readings and weeks in a meeting at the
start of the term. Here are some guidlines for preparing your presentation:
Identify the most important ideas from the readings.
Raise key concepts.
Address challenging math, where appropriate.
What do the equations mean? How do they work? Build an intuition.
Connect ideas in the readings to other relevant research.
Raise critical questions.
Incite discussion.
Use powerpoint to focus your presentation and our discussion.
Never read from it.
Time is limited! Have a clear idea about how much time you want us
to spend on each area.
