Meme's can also be used as an example of iterative design. When Richard Dawkins coined the term meme, he used the metaphor of a virus. A virus is an organism that changes and adapts as it multiplies though out a system. Like a virus, a meme's goes through many versions and grows and changes as it permeates pop culture.s
